Better Call Saul: Season 7 – Everything You Should Know

Better Call Saul was undoubtedly one of the most successful shows to air on AMC. What started as a Breaking Bad spin-off proved itself to be a well-made legal crime drama that cemented its own legacy. The show spanned six seasons with 63 episodes, but will it go further with Better Call Saul: Season 7?

If you’ve only recently got into Better Call Saul, you might’ve missed AMC’s announcement that Season 6 will be its final outing. Still, considering its popularity, is there a chance it’ll be given a surprise renewal? To find out, here’s everything you should know about Better Call Saul: Season 7.

When Will Better Call Saul: Season 7 Be Released?

Unfortunately, Better Call Saul: Season 7 has no official release date. As much as we call for more Saul, it’s unlikely that Better Call Saul will be renewed for another season. Nonetheless, it still managed to go out on its own terms rather than getting abruptly cancelled by its network.

During a discussion with Hollywood Reporter, series creator Vince Gilligan stated: “You’ve got to know when to leave the party. You don’t want to be the guy with the lampshade on his head. I know I was asked the same thing at the end of Breaking Bad, and I gave the same answer, but I need to prove to myself that I’m not a one-trick pony.”

Will The Cast Return For Better Call Saul: Season 7?
With the show finished, the cast won’t return for Better Call Saul: Season 7. Yet that doesn’t mean you won’t see them together in other projects in the future.
In an interview with Consequence, Rhea Seehorn, who starred as Kim Wexler, expressed interest in working again with the Better Call Saul team. “I’m actively trying to work with people from the Better Call Saul family, particularly my producers. I’m trying to do something with Peter, and Bob [Odenkirk] and I have things that we are already planning to do together,” the actress teased.
Saul Goodman’s actor, Bob Odenkirk, also wants to work with Seehorn in the future. When asked by Vulture in regards to working together, he mentioned: “I like to keep relationships alive over the course of my career. It would be a dream to work with Rhea again. It can happen, I think.”

What Could Better Call Saul: Season 7 Be About?

Rhea Seehorn shared in the previously mentioned interview with Vulture that she thinks Kim will come back to see Saul again in prison. She might even practice law again and find a legitimate way to reduce Saul’s sentence. Meanwhile, Odenkirk quickly disagreed as he thought that it really was goodbye for the character.
